'My name is Irina, I am an artist from Moscow. Educated in the private art workshop of Sergei Pavlov, a graduate of the V.I. Surikov Institute and teacher of the S.G. Stroganov Academy. In my work, I combine an academic base and a vivid illustrative approach.
My passion has become the image of bright characters of various nationalities. The impetus for studying other cultures was my first profession - an ethnologist, which instilled in me a love for ethnic diversity and the ability to see beauty in different ways. Until now, this area of my life inspires me to learn new things.
In addition to people, I am insanely inspired by nature, plants, and animals, and I often use this in compositions. In the creation, the most interesting for me is the process of sculpting the form with strokes, the search for the form itself and the colour scheme'
