Yulia Belasla draws inspiration from studying the nature of human feelings, the interaction of nature and man, the search for a human place and way in the world.
Yulia's paintings are like masterfully told legends. It is slightly mystical and fabulous. It is pleasant to hear them and return to them again. At the same time, it is full of kindness, meanings and morals.
Using the gold and silver foil, Yulia creates the effects of liquid jewels spreading over the surface. They seem to thread through the artist's works and reflect sunlight and moonlight. A scattering of round and spiral details and ornate lines makes the artist's art look like enamel jewellery illustrations. Each element is inscribed in the overall composition and is strictly necessary. There will be no whole picture without it.
Yulia's works are bright, story-driven and dynamic despite the seeming static. So, the artist conveys the sensuality of faces, only outlining simple features with lines, but the emotion read immediately. In general, there is always a persona in the learning process, emotional living and feelings in Julia's paintings. The heroes are often inextricably linked with the environment, whether it be a big city, a forest, or even the Universe. Patterns stretch up, towards the sun, moon, sky. Therefore, there is a lot of optimism, faith, light in the plots. Even if the heads of the characters are tilted, their hair stretches upwards in wide curved rivers, and the deer's golden horns floridly rise to the sky as if trying to pierce a frosty cloud.
The artist's works are full of symbolism. So, the newborn planet is a woman whose hair is a titanic force that forms all living things around. The moon sends powerful energy streams going to the tops of each of us. The sun charges us with energy via wires. A wise mentor in the form of Pegasus takes sorrows and anxieties away.
In Yulia's paintings, you will find a magical world of dreams, a new reality in which everything will work out if you be open up to new opportunities, let go of the past and believe in the best.
